Hey there, so here’s a few more things about me
Who I am….
I’m a heart-centred, soul following, ambitious seeker of truth, a student of life (and a work in progress)
A believer and nurturer of human potential and growth.
An ex-victim of my thoughts and a recovering people pleaser, self-doubter, second guesser and self-sabotager.
A champion for girls and women to own their unique worth and brilliance and unapologetically shine in their own skin.
What I’ve learned…
If you’re alive and breathing, you are innately whole, deserving and worthy.
Everything happening in life is happening for us, and not to us.
The bigger the ‘this-sucks factor’ the bigger the opportunity for growth.
We are powerful beings. We get to shape our experiences through our intention and choice. Everything we think and do acts like a magnet, drawing those thoughts and intentions to us.
We judge people from our own place of insecurity
If you only knew what people were going through you wouldn’t be surprised by their behaviour
Kindness changes everything (especially when it’s directed to ourselves because we can’t give what we don’t have)
The last few tidbits…
I could fly a plane solo before I could legally drive a car on my own
I’m addicted equally to hot yoga and dark, black, tar-like coffee
I have 4 coach training under my belt (but usually don’t wear a belt)
I’m a graduate of the Hoffman Process, a yoga teacher and certified in Reiki level 1 and 2
I live in Alberta with my partner Jason and two sweet furry souls, aka dogs.
I grew up on the beautiful shores of Nova Scotia. The ocean is my happy place…just a sniff of that salt air makes my heart smile.
Lastly, I no longer make excuses for myself or my experiences. I no longer wait for someone else to approve of me, or give me permission to be myself and participate in my own life the way I want.
I recognize my biggest gifts and lessons so far, have always been disguised as some kind of failure or painful-shit-show, which forced me to learn, grow and change for the better.
I’ve helped many women overcome self-doubt, step out of their self-imposed box and beliefs, take their power back to show up authentically and thrive at work, and in life. Because life is too short to be anything but who you are.
If you feel that fire in your belly and longing in your heart, listen up -that’s your internal guidance system gently nudging you towards your greatness. Follow it.
Here’s to thriving and being ourselves,
